Dina Borysenko is a Chemistry Instructor, Assessment of Student Learning Faculty Liaison at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), where she leads assessment of student learning initiatives for over 1,000 faculty members across more than 150 programs. Her work focuses on closing the gap between faculty effort, institutional data and positive changes — supporting institutional and program outcomes assessment and reporting, state-mandated program documentation, and accreditation compliance across a structurally complex institution. Dina has also played key roles in development of system of faculty support at MATC, rapid transition to online learning during COVID, writing accreditation argument on assessment of student learning, and organizing numerous professional development events and training sessions. Her passion is in building bridges between faculty and administrators while ensuring quality of instruction and assessment.
Through her consulting practice, Dina applies over 20 years of higher ed experience to help faculty and institutional leaders develop meaningful assessment design that leads to measurable improvements and institutional effectiveness.
Her background also includes experience in chemical research and product development, founding a nationally recognized science and math program for young women in STEM, serving on the Board of the American Chemical Society Milwaukee Section, and being an active board member of Wisconsin Ukrainians, Inc. Dina holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the National Technical University of Ukraine, Kharkiv.
